As mentioned in my last( and first!) "My travel diary" (It's been a while since then!) I frequently use trains in Europe and it has always been a comfortable and convenient experience.
It is a very reliable method of transfer and I hardly had any trouble whilst my journey from country to country, city to city and town to town.
Each station has its unique history, characteristic of buildings and it is always worthwhile to see.
I will be traveling soon in Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria and the UK late October/early November and am looking forward to get on a train again.
