Fortunately I am able to eat any type of food, although I never tried so called "exotic foods", and drink any kind of beverages, experiencing a local food and drink is one of the joy of the travel.
In Japan, surely we can experience many type of foods from all over the world these days but normally the taste is being adjusted to the Japanese taste buds...I think, or I taste perhaps.
Observing the local ingredients, method of food preparation and unique cooking style makes me wonder sometime how and why the particular food has been developed and instigate me to learn more about it and its culture behind... mmm the Porchetta was yummy and wine was great.
