Indonesia is a country comprising more than 18110 islands.

However,

this number of islands is counted with an image sent from a satellite.

The Indonesian government does not knows exactly

how many islands there are.




The dishes originated in Bali. All dishes are served on large platters with banana leaves.
They are influenced by Hinduism, so there are no pork. There are a lot of vegetable, fish and chicken dishes.

We ate them with "sambal sauce", kind of chili sauce.
Yummy, yummy!
But sweat oozed from every pore
